The vision of the Southampton Township Historical Project is to collect and preserve as many artifacts, stories and photographs on township history. Our goal is to create a multimedia presentation of the township’s history.
We realize that this is a work in progress. We will be adding more information to the web site as it is received, reviewed and cataloged.
The Project will preserve and collect documentation, archives, artifacts, photographs and data to educate present and future generations on the history of Southampton Township, Cumberland County Pennsylvania.
The Historical Project is in search of any old photograph(s) which depict local buildings, sites and structures throughout Southampton Township of historic significance. The Historical Project volunteers will reproduce the photograph(s) and give the original photo(s) back to the owner. If you would be interested in donating or loaning historic photographs, artifacts or data related to Township of Southampton, Cumberland Co.
